The Aerogarden has been started!

I'm excited to say that I finally set up the aerogarden and got my seeds started on Wednesday of this past week. It couldn't have been any easier. I'm glad I delayed starting the seeds to March 24th because the instructions mentioned that it takes significantly less time for seeds to germinate since they are being grown hydroponically.

It has been a long week though, between mid semester grading for my classes, and a few performances this week! So this has been a true test of budgeting my time properly. That is definitely another nice perk of using the aerogarden. I got it set up actually at 11am after I finished some work, all from the comfort of my kitchen.

I introduced our precocious cat Joni to the aerogarden in hopes that she doesn't try and knock it over. Fingers crossed!! I started four kinds of seeds:

- Paul Robison Tomatoes

- Yellow cherry tomatoes

- Swiss Chard

- Cilantro

I'll check back in a few days from now, hopefully with some seeds sprouting! Then the next challenge will start of keeping them alive!
